Wayne & Oakland County Residents Pay Half for Certified Nurse Assistant Course With PTC

Certified Nurse Assistant

To meet Michigan's growing demand for medical professionals, Phlebotomy Training Center (PTC) is excited to announce we have slashed the price of one our most popular certification classes, Certified Nurse Assistant/Nurse Aide (CNA), by half. Wayne and Oakland county residents can now reap professional benefits by earning three certifications in one affordable class when they choose PTC.

Due to an aging population, the job outlook for many medical professions, including nursing, is estimated to grow at a faster-than-average rate over the next 5-10 years. Because of this positive outlook, trained medical professionals are sure to find a job in their field after obtaining the proper certifications.

Projected to add more than 250,000 jobs nationwide by 2024, the field of nursing assistants/aides is growing quicker than many others (bls.gov). CNAs spend a lot of one-on-one time with patients so doctors and nurses rely heavily on their compassion and their certification in monitoring vitals, observing patient changes and helping with some medical procedures.

"Thank you so much for being [an] informative and helpful source for getting me fast on track in my future employment. All of your employees are amazing and truly great teammates...I will for sure use your classes for my future education. Five stars!"

This is where Phlebotomy Training Center comes into play. Our CNA certification class is one of our most sought-after courses because of the many benefits students receive during and after this training.

Our CNA Certification Course

Our state-approved CNA certification course has been going strong for over seven years. The current course is a 75-hour program in which our students perform a clinical rotation through one of our several long term care facilities in Metro Detroit and the surrounding areas.

This class meets in-person every Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for six weeks.

Students are required to have a negative TB skin test prior to registering for the class and pass a criminal background check and a drug screen by the third week of class (must be able to work at long term health facilities). Students are required to wear burgundy scrubs and white shoes (tennis, nursing, clogs) to class.

The Many Benefits of a CNA Certification from Phlebotomy Training Center:

  • The cost has gone from $1,200 to $675 for the entirety of this course.

  • The price includes, at no extra charge, two additional certificates, Home Health Aide and Medication Aide.
